feels like the end because it is the final semester.feels like something keeps pushing me back but i managed to pass through everytime. It takes time.. but i can still manage =)

home for the crackers!
right about now, i'm diligently painting my toe and finger nails for the coming ox new year. this is abrupt.. but the secret to my nail painting:
colors
DARK is sexy. NEON is a no no. PALE MILKY color for the sweet look. GLITTERS? ..not my taste yet. And I have my TRANSPARENT solution if I just want the neat corporate look. So, depending on the coming occasion, i match colors according to the mood or sometimes the dress.
next up, the secret to make colors look even
people ALWAYS wonder about this one. easy. just apply another layer of paint if you think that it is not even. at some point, the paint will just saturate and turn into the same color. like.. how can black become black-er? o.O depending on different hands though. with my nail painting skills, 3 layers for light-colored and 2 layers max for dark-colored paint would do the trick.
the reason i hate doing it in a nail parlour
1. it is a waste of time. the same reason why i MUST you-tube while eating my meals. I have to watch something while doing my nails. waiting for them to dry is too painful for me.
2. i'm accident prone. after a couple layers of paint, the surface will dry but the paint underneath is still fresh. as in.. i'll get dents on my newly done nails the moment i put my slipper on right after i pay.
burning question: wad is the amount of time needed for the paint to dry, completely?
haha.. i once read something similar somewhere before and thought to myself, That's Almost Exactly What I Do! as in, they gauge the time according to how many episodes of gossip girls before the paint dries. but i remember they suggested less than mine. i'd go for better safe than sorry?
non-colored layer (to prevent the color from staining your nails): half episode of small ville.
first colored layer: 1 episode of smallville.
second colored layer: 4 episodes of smallville. if you don't watch smallville, it is basically one-third of a day lar.
third colored layer, if necessary: 8 episodes of smallville. two-third of a day.
after that, IF I "suddenly" notice a dent, then probably another layer of transparent paint will make it shiny and camou the dent?
omg omg.. this feels bimbotic. nail-painting tips. oh wth.. it has always been my pride okay? at least i won't camwhore myself and post pictures of me doing nails. coming from a person with severe nail-biting habit in the past! i think i have some kind of nail-complex now becus sometimes i crave for nail clipper. wth *shrugs*
next up, new year's eve shots! took me long enough to post them up because i was in dillemma about whether i should or not. since someone dun remember threatening me

i'm still me.. still the one dreading evry single day aheadbeen watching hana kimi lately. some twisted jap-anime-based taiwanese drama series. the plot is basically about this girl who disguised as a boy to attend an all-boys school to watch her/his dream guy in athlete shorts lor! it is not quality entertainment but at least i have nuthing else to watch nowadays. you can catch the show on youtube! the show is not as twisted as i made it sound lar of course. it is suppose to be a cute-loving show. luckily nobody ever writes about a guy who turned into a transvestite (can't spell) to chase the girl of his/her dream leh. that is not cute liao: is dam sick lor.

anyway, happy new year!
been having fluctuations in mood lately. it was good back home. better when i got to spend christmas with jae and my siblings. drop dead ugly when i came back to kl. a little bit better when anticipating new year eve party at PH's place. and now mood dropped to zero especially lunar new year is like 3 long weeks more =( the more i think of thesis and work.. the more depressed i get. it is as if i am forever 'going through a phase' ..how can?new year resolution is easy --> go go low-purine diet! *blech*

During my last trip back home, mum decided to take me for blood test. wth. the result is as i know it, i'm not as healthy as i look. wth wth! right now i'm feeling more miserable than ever. having to change from 'live-to-eat' to 'eat-to-live' is a big turn off. wth lor. i used to look forward to meals. right now all my appetite suddenly got killed. wth.. jealous not? get to lose weight leh wth wth -.-right now this moment i'm back in school, hiding in the lab, trying to gain the momentum back to my project, and diligently planning outings.
ps: no.. this blog is not dead. i just want it to be like a sleeping volcano which erupts mildly once in a while

random holiday boredom
I got a book from the library regarding my thesis project. I couldn't get myself to read it in the library. Tried reading it in the lab. So, I've decided to read it in the cafe with a cuppa nesLo (malaysian-style mocha). still, it was more of enjoying the drink than reading some tiresome handbook. Then.. supervisor walked by with his lunch. and decided to sit down with me. throughout the conversation, the only thing i have goin in my head is that: i got caught being a nerd! ha ha. fake nerd. but i'm so proud of myself *beams*

Let us start off with this:baby's fine!. he has grown. proud moments of mine. new finding: he loves almond *hearts. you can really tell from the video. he is starting to flash his male organ. male organ look like snake tongue. ha ha. and he's starting to have the adult men odour, sugar glider version of course. bleh.. like skunk =.=
